Papa Johns pizza take-away wants opening hours to 4am

The first one was refused on grounds of noise disturbance. This would be for delivery only, using the front door instead of the back door. Papa Johns have written a letter to the planners saying, “by extending our operating hours we will contribute to the vitality of the local economy by providing a reliable service to customers during late hours, thus supporting the centre’s evening and night-time economy”.

Eaton City Cllr. Judith Lubbock said, “In my objection to the extension of hours to 4am I have pointed out that the Colman Road shops are in a residential area which does not have a ‘night- time’ economy. Most residents want a good night’s sleep between 11 and 4am.”
