Norwich Housing Hub Launched
Norwich City Council have launched a new online Housing Hub, which they claim has been designed to strengthen engagement with their tenants.
Several of the features tenants are encouraged to use include: sharing views and lived experiences, taking part in discussions, surveys, and quick polls, and helping to shape the housing services you receive. The website also includes direct links to other council housing services, such as to make compliments and complaints, report needed repairs, report antisocial behaviour, and access your housing online account.
City Hall is also encouraging people to consider becoming a member of their Tenant Involvement Panel (TIP), which meets every six weeks to review housing policy, finance matters and scrutinise the performance of housing services. Members can gain valuable insight into how the housing department operates and have the opportunity to question council officers about their roles and the challenges they face. TIP members also contribute to consultations on significant service changes.
If you are interested in applying to join TIP, city hall asks you to email: Involvement@Norwich.Gov.UK
If you would like any assistance in accessing the new Housing Hub, your Focus Team is more than willing to assist. We want to make sure that no tenants feel excluded from council services due to a lack of access or expertise with technology.
