Holt Hall Outdoor Education Centre

Liberal Democrat councillors on Norfolk County Council have spoken out strongly against the Conservative administration's decision to close Holt Hall Outdoor Education Centre. The move received strong public opposition, but attempts to bring about a rethink failed at a special meeting of the Council in January. Brian Watkins said, 'Holt Hall has helped to transform the lives of thousands of children across several generations. I am appalled that the Tories have not seen fit to consult the wider public properly about its future, as well as their unwillingness to look at alternative models and partnerships that could have kept this important facility open in the longer term.
