George Borrow Garage Sale

In June, as advertised in Focus, the George Borrow Rd friendly neighbours association held their garage sale in aid of Care for Clare, raising money for the Clare School on South Park Avenue.
While the weather was poorer than hoped, our University ward spokesperson James Hawketts had a lovely time, and there was a great community spirit. We hope the over £300 raised will go to good use for Clare School. If you know of a local event going on for a good cause, get in touch so we can advertise it in Focus.
