Danby Play Area

Play equipment was withdrawn from the playground in March this year as it had become dangerous. Local residents are however unhappy that it will not be replaced until early 2024.

One resident told Cllr Judith Lubbock that her grandchildren had greatly missed out on playing on the equipment for the whole of the summer. Judith went on to say, “Children need to be encouraged to live active lives and enjoy the outdoors. Norwich City Council’s spending priorities should reflect that and any damaged play equipment should be replaced quicker than the proposed 10 months”.
